With great views this typical Swedish house is situated on Värmdö, one of 23,000 islands in the archipelago.
A typical day for us is waking up to the sound of the birds, having breakfast on the decking overlooking the glittering sea, and then spending the day outdoors (swimming, sunbathing, rowing, fishing, walking or cycling) until it’s time for a barbecue with grilled salmon and a nice glass of chilled white.
The house is also perfectly located for day trips further out into the archipelago or in to beautiful Stockholm (30 min) with it’s many restaurants, museums, amusement parks, shopping, night life etc. We are sure that whatever your interests, a week here will put the wind back in your sails. PS. The house was renovated recently and now has all mod cons such as ceramic hob, projector, 50inch TV and wireless internet access. However please note it is not a luxury hotel but a 1950s family holiday cottage with portraits on the walls and spices/coffee in the cupboards.
